Jacquemus “La Montagne”
"For this collection, after such a special year, I wanted to bring people together and share a moment. I wanted to focus on the clothes, silhouettes, colors, fabrics, details and energy of the models. I wanted the set to be minimalist and colorful in order to recreate an artistic and abstract mountain that reflected the main inspiration of the collection. Welcome back!" With these words Simon Porte Jacquemus presents his latest collection "La Montagne".

The show starts with a wardrobe of neutral colors and then goes to pastel colors, from strawberry pink to blue, fuchsia and black. Plunging necklines, disheveled dresses, tops, jackets, crop shirts and classic Chiquito bags with wool details are the pieces that are featured throughout the show.

The French designer wanted to express his idea of mountains with micro bras that expose the chest, crop jackets, tight-fitting biker shorts and mini-cardigans joined by a single thread.

The mountain wardrobe has been reinvented with technical fabrics to mix comfort and style: belted tops, fluorescent harnesses, technical materials and fleece skirts transform sportswear into ultra-chic fashion pieces.

Winter or summer, it doesn't seem to matter anymore, fashion is breaking free from old seasonal codes. But above all it is breaking away from the old canons of beauty, super sexy curvy models are in fact present, the message of Jacquemus is that of inclusiveness.
